The first petition will go to Ohio Legislators and Governor Strickland asking them to support SB120, to put into law the exemptions Issue 5 said would be exempt by a YES vote in November 2006.

Sign this petition to end advertising on TV for prescription drugs:
I came across this petition the other day.  We've been asking the same question.  Why should we be subjected to commercial after commercial for prescription drugs?  Can WE run out to the nearest drug store and ask for these drugs?  What's shameful is the barrage of these commercials during the day, targeting the elderly and retired.  These commercials should never be allowed on TV.  WE should never be their target market.  They want us to pick up the phone and call our doctor to demand the "latest and greatest drug".  Let's put an end to this.  Think how much cheaper our prescription drugs would be if we didn't have to pay advertising costs included in the price of our prescritions.

Americans have a right to know that we're being duped; that we're pawns in the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's get richer quick scheme and that the American Cancer Society, American Lung Association and American Heart Association are all in it for the power.  Let the non-smokers know that it's not about smoking.  These groups have alcohol on their 2009 agenda and obesity in their sites.  They will be in OUR HOMES telling us what we can and cannot do.  This goes beyond smoking.  They're gaining power and they must be stoped.
 
Write your Congressional leadership to demand an investigation!
MAKE your elected officials talk to you.  They are supposed to be your voice.  Make yours heard!
 
CUT OFF THE MONEY SUPPLY!!
 STOP donating to the American Cancer Society, American Lung Association and American Heart Association!!
Why would you support the very groups who are taking all our rights away?  We all donated at one time because we thought our money was going for research...NOT lobbying against us!!  Give to Childrens Hospitals.
 
BOYCOTT Johnson & Johnson products.
Know who the manufacturer is of the products you're buying.   Don't give them any of our money to use against us. 
 
Join a Rights Group in your state.  Yahoo has several Smokers Rights Groups for individual states.  If one has not been created for your state, start one of your own!
